There are now two Sunflower Ukrainian Cafes in the South Okanagan after a new one sprouted up in downtown Pentiction. The first location was opened in Summerland in 2023 by Ukrainian refugees Andrew Murat and Julia Borysendo, who offer a menu of authentic Eastern Europe cuisine.
