Still Standing With Ukraine Fundraisers
We celebrate the recent success of our two fundraising concerts in Comox/Campbell River and gratefully acknowledge and thank our supporters.
Results From the Comox/Campbell River Events
On Thursday, Sept 21/23 in Courtenay and on Saturday, Sept 23/23 in Campbell River, the Comox Valley Ukrainian Cultural Society and the Ukraine Nightingale Project presented Calgary’s acclaimed Tryzub Junior Dance Troupe, along with singer Ihor Bohdan and the Valley’s own Ukrainian Choir, Nezlamna for an unforgettable performance to over 800 patrons.
Proceeds from the fundraisers supports displaced Ukrainians. Funding is divided between three organizations: Comox Valley Ukrianian Cultural Society, the Ukraine Nightingale Project and
