Three years ago, on Feb. 24, the lives of the Kiladze family — Salome, Lasha,Amiran, and Milena — were torn apart when Russia invaded Ukraine. They escaped to Georgia and finally to Canada and have established new lives in Keremeos. They want to stay, but they, like the 300,000 other Ukrainians who came to Canada to escape the war, they have to navigate a maze of immigration bureaucracy. The Ukraine Nightingale Project is helping them while in Canada.
