Dentists in Penticton, Okanagan Falls, and Oliver have stepped forward to help with emergency care for Ukrainian children whose families have been displaced by the war.
In April, the Sunrise Rotary Club of Penticton and the Ukraine Nightingale Project sent out a call to local dentists for help on a pro bono or reduced fare basis.
Dr. Azeez Swarup, who owns Okanagan Dental in Okanagan Falls with his wife, Dr. Divya Swarup, was among the six dentists who answered the call.
